Season Subscriptions

Our 27th Season will continue to feature our Artistic Partners, but will also provide a new opportunity for Musician-Led Concerts in each of our venues. Featuring the works of favorites such as Bernstein. Copland, Stravinsky, and Beethoven, the 2017-2018 Season will explore centuries of stories told through the rich sounds of the classical chamber orchestra.

Bach in the Ballroom (Tacoma: Dec 22, 2017)

Celebrate the holiday season in one of Tacom'as most ornate settings! NWS welcomes the return of co-founder and harpsichordist Kathryn Habedank, with a collection of Baroque classics, perfect for this historic venue. Orchestra members Brittany Boulding, Shannon Spicciati, and Francine Peterson perform solo concerti on a program that features Bach's first Orchestral Suite. 

The Four Seasons (Puyallup: Feb 25, 2018) 

The talents of Sinfonietta's Co-concertmasters, Brittany Boulding and Denise Dillenbeck, are on full display in this program inspired by the changing seasons.Vivaldi's immortal collection of concerti are known the world over for their evocative sounds and virtuoso demands on the soloist. Centuries later, Astor Piazzolla was inspired to write his own version, infused with the rhythm and soul of the Argentinean tango. Warm up your winter with an afternoon featuring these two remarkable works, side by side!

Winds in the City (Seattle: Apr 12, 2018)

The Sinfonietta's wind and percussion players take center stage for a diverse program at one of Seattle's most engaging spaces for live music! Enjoy a full bar and pan-asian cuisine while you savor a sampling of smaller ensembles. Works include Dvorak's lyrical Serenade for Winds, as well as some hidden gems of he classical chamber music repertoire.
