Art for Arts' Sake - Puyallup

About This Performance

Northwest Sinfonietta embarks on an innovative collaboration to create a fantastic concert experience with Art for Art's Sake.  With partner organizations Spectrum Dance Theater and the Museum of Glass, this performance explores the common artistry between these different mediums.  Music will include the world premiere of Hot Shop, a new work by local composer and Sinfonietta violist Heather Bentley.

This program is performed twice in its entirety, separated by an intermission. 

The first half features interpretation by artists representing the Museum of Glass; the second features performers from Spectrum Dance Theater. 

Northwest Sinfonietta cellist Gretchen Yanover performs original compositions for solo electric cello throughout the program. 

Single tickets are $37, and available by following this link to the Northwest Sinfonietta ticketing system (provided by Arts People).
