Tales of Hope and Heroism - Puyallup

About This Performance

Israeli-born conductor Yaniv Attar takes Sinfonietta audiences on an incredible journey through the life of  Curt Lowens, who survived the Kristallnacht terrors of 1938 Germany and went on to be a fighter in the Dutch Resistance. Composer Sharon Farber will be in attendance for the Northwest premiere of this moving work.  Narrator Erich Parce is joined by renowned cellist Amit Peled, who has performed with many orchestras in the world's major concert halls.   This heroic tale is perfectly paired with Beethoven’s beloved third symphony, subtitled ‘Eroica’ by the composer himself.
