Opened in 1919, the Ederer Crane building manufactured large-scale cranes which fueled the rise of the Emerald City.  This inviting venue gives an intimate experience for concert-goers and features food and beverage options to enjoy with the music.  Share a dinner or drinks with friends before, during or after the performance, in one of the city's most accessible and growing neighborhoods.   

Accessibility & Parking

Metropolist is ADA accessible.  Parking throughout SoDo is free after 6pm with four city-owned free parking lots within two blocks of the venue.

Map & Directions

By Car:

From I-5 (North and South):
Take the West Seattle Bridge exit (#163) and follow the signs to Spokane Street (below the bridge).  Follow Spokane Street west approximately 8 blocks and turn right on 1st Ave South.  The venue is three blocks north on the left side of the street.

From I-90 (Bellevue/Eastside):
Follow the freeway past the I-5 exits and continue straight to exit on 4th Ave South.  Turn right.  Take a right at the first light onto S Holgate Street.  Turn left onto 1st Ave South.  The venue is four blocks south on the right side of the street.

From Highway 99 (Aurora Avenue):
Take the S Atlantic Street exit near the stadiums, and follow the exit ramp to the left.  Take a right on 1st Ave S (in front of Safeco Field).  The venue is six blocks south on the right side of the street.

From West Seattle/Vashon Island:
Take the West Seattle bridge and exit onto 1st Ave South.  The venue is three blocks north on the left side of the street.  For transit by bus direct to the Metropolist, see public transportation below.


By Public Transportation:

Bus (King County Metro):
Five bus lines serve the stop in front of the venue at 1st Ave S & S Hanford St- #21, 50, 116, 118 and 119.  Most downtown buses pick up downtown near Benaroya Hall on 3rd Ave & Pike St; Vashon Island express buses connect West Seattleites & Islanders from the Fauntleroy ferry terminal directly to SoDo.       

Link Light Rail:
Exit at the SoDo station, and cross 4th Ave South.  Walk three blocks to 1st Ave South, then walk two blocks south.  The venue is on the right side of the street.


Exit at University Street station (under Benaroya Hall); follow signs to exit the station onto 3rd Ave; walk one block north to Pike St and take one of the Metro buses listed above.
